An action that we have taken to support our school’s learning focus is: Outdoor story workshop Using picture books to ground the learning, students created their own stories in the garden. Then, they documented their story through water colour paint, drawing, or words. |
This action supports our school’s learning focus in the following ways:
•Build connections and background knowledge through picture books •Supports development of story structure and communication of ideas •This routine fosters collaboration and encourages students to provide feedback and questions for each other |
