Our Community--continuing to build

Jessie Wowk has focused on building community for the past 2 years.  Our staff, students and families have worked together to continue to deepen and strengthen our ties with each other.  Here is a list of activites that PAC and the school do to help support our community:

Extra curricular activities--connected with Richmond Continuing Education that will run after school programs for students--Spring 2019-Coding for K-3, Fall 2019--Art class

Individual and team sports--volleyball, basketball, cross country running, track and filed

After school gym time --badminton, volleyball, floor hockey

Clubs--Math, Me to We, Student Leadership, Lego Club, Games Club

Our older students lead and take part in:  Global Schools Playday, Take me Outside, Outdoor Learning Classroom Day, Orange Shirt Day, Terry Fox Run and Assembly, Family Teams, Buddy classes

PAC initiated events--Weekly pizza days, a different lunch each week for the month, brining outside instructors in to the school for: badminton, dance--hip hop and modern, visual arts--painting and clay, First Nations dance, movie afternoons, Winter Celebration, Chinese New Year snack party,

We will continue with the events and activities PAC and the school have been running.  We will continue to maintain the stronger and deepr sense of community we have built.
