On Wednesday, May 22nd all of our students participated in a Care for Place family teams photo scavenger hunt activity. Their objective was to take photos and complete a bingo card of interesting objects in our natural environment. Please feel free to look at the attached bingo card for the ideas our students were provided with when exploring.

Our grade 6/7 students then created photo collages of their findings and discoveries. This activity was designed to help our students learn more about the wonders of our outdoor space here at Wowk and learn more about the importance of Caring for Place.

As a staff we noticed how our teams cared for one another during this activity. While the activity was intended to bring attention of the importance of Caring for Place and our school environment, our students were able to work as a team, be kind and inclusive to one another, and also work toward a common goal together. We are very proud of what they were able to achieve during this activity.
