Halloween for Hunger Food Drive

• Oct 27 – 31 – bring in non-perishable food items to support the Richmond Food Bank
• We have partnered with the Hugh Boyd Interact Club leadership group for this initiative

PAC Movie Matinee: Thursday, Oct 30^th, 3:00 – 5:00pm

Movie: Hotel Transylvania

• Pizza and snacks available to order on Munch-a-Lunch
• Snacks available for purchase
• K – Gr. 5 students MUST attend with an adult
• Gr. 6/7 students must bring permission form

Halloween Activities: Oct 31^st

• Primary costume parade (morning)
• Halloween Dance (lunch)
• feel free to send your child with a change of clothes if they would like to change out of their costumes after lunch

Halloween reminders:

For those who celebrate it, Halloween should and needs to be fun! And it can be fun for ALL and not at the expense of equity-deserving groups. It’s good to keep in mind that the following are NOT Costumes:   

• RACE (black face/brown face)
• ETHNICITY AND CULTURE (Indigenous regalia/dreadlocks)
• RELIGIOUS FAITH (religious figures/gods/saints/gurus/hijab/turban/kippah)
• GENDER (gender switching for humour or to mock)
• TRAUMA (hangman’s noose/weapons)
