Week at a Glance: April 22 - 25
Author Visit: Jeff Chiba Stearns
On Wednesday, a local author and illustrator, Jeff Chiba Stearns, visited the school to share his joy and journey in writing and drawing children’s books. This is a unique opportunity to give your child an exciting and creative keepsake. An order form to purchase a personalized signed book has been sent home with your child. Payment (cash or cheque) is due by Monday, April 28th with delivery later that week. Learn more about his books here. Thank you to Mrs. Buhr for organizing such a rich learning opportunity for students.
Earth Week Challenge
We are kicking off the Earth Week challenge on Tuesday, April 22! Walk, bike, or carpool to school to reduce our carbon footprint. Students have also created bulletin boards using recycled materials to share the message of sustainability.
- Earth Day Assembly at 9:00am – families welcome!
