Main Content:

1. PAC Member Recruiting

• Recruiting and nominations of key positions is ongoing. The following executive positions have at least one nominee. Chairperson (Alaric Nominated), Treasurer (Jon Nominated), Secretary (Annie Nominated)
• Try to find coordinators for each event
  • Food Day (Alaric is training new parents)
  • Fundraising (by Christina)
  • Special Events
• Over the past 3 years Alaric - in close collaboration with Mrs Lunny, has transitioned the school from paper forms and cheques to online payments through SchoolCashOnline. This will now be passed on to Laura Chan who will continue to work with Mrs Lunny for PAC's SchoolCashOnline items
   

2. Outdoor Ed Fundraising

• A total of $6192 have been raised over two years to support the current 2019 Outdoor Education group of students.
   

3. First Nation workshops feedback

• Feedback from staff has been very positive. The cultural piece has tied in very well with the curriculum students are learning about First Nations.
• Alaric has been able to secure $1000 grant from TD to partially support the dance instructions.
   

4. Clothing Drive 36 bags were collected

5. Pink shirt order - completed

6. School hoodies order - completed

7. Financial Report

• General account balance as of March 31st was 25101.14
• Gaming account balance as of March 31st was 704.15
   

8. Administration Report ( Joanne Rooney)

• School logo redesign is underway and awaiting submissions from students
• School story is being updated with input from students and parents
   

Upcoming Events

• Staff Appreciation lunch will be on May 23th 2019
• Track and field day will be at Minoru on May 21th, 2109 (Transportation forms will be sent home with participating students)
• Sports Day will be on June 14th
   

The next PAC meeting will take place at 9:00 AM, Friday May 31 , 2019.
