Student Survey

In March of 2019 Ms. Rooney surveyed 48  students in grades K through grade 7.  She asked the students the following 4 questions.

1. Can you tell me about 2 adults in the school who care about you and think you will be a success in life?
2. What do these people do that shows you that they care about you?
3. What are you learning about in class?  What are the big ideas that you are learning about?
4. Why is it important that you are learning about (the response that they gave)?

48 students in grades Kindergarten through grade 7 were interviewed over a period of 4 weeks.  Ms. Rooney met with each student individually and recorded their responses to each question as the student was asked the question.
