Pumpkin carving in Family Teams
As part of our school story our aim is to build connections between students and staff and student to student. We just completed two family teams activities in the past week. Family teams have been organized so that each team has approximately 8-10 students per team and is a mixture of students from each grade. Ultimately our grade 6 and 7 students will be leading the actvitivies with the teachers facilitating. Family team pictures will be posted on the bulletin board outsdie the office. Our grade 6 and 7 students have already demonstrated that they are up for the task. During pumpkin carving they made sure their younger teammates had help carving and when done their pumpkins played games and did activites with the younger student. A true display of our community getting stronger. Take a peek at the creative carvings of our students.
